| For blocks, cut fabric 8 1/2 inch square (seams should be 1/4 inch). the completed size is 36 X 44 inches. Pictured are Blocks 1, 2 and 3 for the first row and the designs are below. You can download the designs and combine them for the blocks. The clothes line in Block 3 was drawn on the fabric and stitch with a satin stitch for the post and line. Applique was used for the 3 fabric pieces. On Block 4, a small printed piece was appliqued as a picture on the wall. It is suggested to stitch a test of each block to determine where there should be appliques. |
