BOOKMARK INSTRUCTIONS For Designer 1 large hoop: 1. For best results, use linen or an even weave fabric. 2. Spray starch and press fabric. 3. Hoop fabric with a tear away stabilizer 4. Set up machine — attach hoop — bring up design in display. Move design to one side of the large hoop. In doing so, you can stitch out 2 bookmarks. 5. After embroidering, remove fabric from hoop and tear away stabilizer. Press. 6. Using a fabric spray glue, place another piece of fabric on the back of the embroidered piece --- use as a lining. 7. Select a decorative stitch (scallop, etc) and stitch all around leaving a 5/8" border on each side and one inch at top and bottom For the 4" hoop: 1. This requires 3 hoopings. 2. Use the 4" template to place the rose, the first portion of the poem and then the last part. 3. Use recommended fabric mentioned above and hoop in the normal method. Click on image to download. |
