No. 1 — TISSUE HOLDERS:
Supplies:
3 pcs. - 6" x 8" -  Medium heavy fabric, i.e., denim.
Tear Away Stabilizer
Embroidery threads (color your choice)
Sewing/embroidery machine and accessories
Basic sewing kit
Download designs to diskette or card for your machine.

Method:

1.        Set up machine for embroidery — use medium size hoop.
2.        Hoop stabilizer and attach to the embroidery arm.
3.        Fold 2 pieces of the fabric - length wise.
4.        Place fabric pieces onto the stabilizer ---- folded edges meeting in the center length wise - secure with a
baste stitch or spray adhesive.
5.        Embroidery designs - there will be one on each side.
6.        Upon completion of embroidery — slide the 3rd piece of fabric underneath the hooped fabric.
7.        Finish with the satin stitch border.
8.        Detach hoop from arm and remove stitch tissue holder from hoop - carefully remove stabilizer on the
inside.
9.        Apply some seam sealant to one side of the satin stitches — allow to dry then trim.


No. 2 — CUP OR GLASS COZY
Supplies:
2 pcs. - 6" X 12" - medium heavy fabric
Tear Away Stabilizer
Thin quilt batting or felt
Embroidery threads (colors your choice)
Piece of 3/4 inch sew-on Velcro
Spray adhesive
Cut out pattern
Downloaded designs to diskette or card for your machine

Method:

1.        Hoop stabilizer and attach to embroidery arm.
2.        Place one piece of fabric on top of stabilizer.    Baste stitch.
3.        Select a design and stitch.
4.        Upon completion, remove hoop from arm and remove embroidered piece.
5.        Put these three items together and pin.    Bottom - fabric; Second - batting; top - the embroidered piece.
6.        Pin a pattern on top centering the embroidery.    Draw a line all around the pattern - then remove
pattern.
7.        Set machine up for a satin stitch — using embroidery thread — color your choice.
8.        After stitching – apply some seam sealant – allow to dry — and trim.
9.        Stitch a piece of Velcro on ends for closing.
